Ryan Tobs is the only son of Samuel and Mrs. Tobs. He is best friends with Fisk, but left with his mother to Boston when his father Sam was having an affair with Sheila Black, Fisk's mother. This in turn resulted in Mrs. Tobs divorcing Sam and gaining custody of Ryan, resulting in Fisk being devastated that he will no longer see his friend again.
However despite him and Fisk being separate for a long time they end up meeting again after Fisk came home from serving in Kuwait during the Gulf War. Although Naylor did not show the two of them hanging out again, it is easy to say that Ryan and Fisk were able to get back on track at some point.
Since Fisk's mother Sheila ends up marry Sam later on in the story, this in turn makes Ryan becoming Fisk's and Lucy's stepbrother as a result, and is also hinted that Ryan might be working as a part of his dad's business, seeing that Sam did offer Fisk a position in his business. However Ryan is not seen or mentioned again afterwards and he never been seen in Original Life or mentioned either. It is possible that Naylor might perhaps bring him back in Original Life+5, but even that maybe doubtful.
